Bored...

Turns out the melbourne museum isn't as fun to a teenager as it is
when ur at primary school... The best bit was doing a polygraph
test... Good thing is we r no longer going to b late home so I will b
able to get to slave way in time to start work yay LOL... I've been
meaning to post some how to's and I will get around to it soon. Things
like torrets and ubuntu... Just different things I have learnt over
time and I consider to be important aspects of computing... Oh and
exciting news... I'm typing this post on my iPod touch LOL thank god
for it having autocorrect LOL

WOW! isn't vet fun???

Well here i am sitting in my vet class.... im prob not meant to be on my blog but i am and the teacher hasnt noticed... tis good
Im meant to be doing some boringness out of the stupid 100$ text book on microsoft office...but.... im not
anyways! BREAK TIME!! YAY! highlight of my time at vet! lol

Seriously Silly Saturday (gotta love alliteration!!)

Ok yet another post about yet another night at the WONDEROUS safeway store number 3103!!

Tonight consisted as always of work, annoying customers, some laughs, a scary/disturbing story about a carton of eggs and some questions being raised...

Ok to start il talk about the annoying customers which also includes the "some laughs" category...
Well it all started with me on register 3, and some customers standing at the end of isle 3... one of the said customers was holding a baby, the baby decided to, for reasons unknown to myself, regurgitate some previously eaten food, yes thats right blog readers, a baby threw up onto the floor at our store tonight, well the first i knew of it was Brittany handing me a cloth and some spray and telling me she had a job for me to do. i ask what specifically and Brittany proceded to point in the general direction of the vomit and throng of guilty customers, so Brittany took over serving on my register and i proceeded to clean the mess, one of the customers(the one with the child) asked her partner to clean it up to which he very quickly said "no, im not doing that!" so i was left to clean up the wonderful previously mushy banana or some such other baby food... definitely wasn't the high light of my night!

Ok, now that we have that out of the way... onto the story about the carton of eggs...
there was a customer standing at the service desk with said carton of RSPCA eggs (remember that, its important) in hand, i asked how i could be of assistance (which was more likely "hi, how are you?" said in the most uncaring tone possible as things mostly r after the first 2 hours at safeway). To which the customer in question replied with something along the lines of "we found a chicken in this carton of eggs" what had happened as she went on to explain was that they had opened said carton of eggs to find one egg broken with 2 small chickens feet poking out the bottom which were attached to a chicken who had apparently died in an effort to escape its enclose... how this had become so both perplexes and scares me... for one: why in any egg farmers right mind would u keep a rooster anywhere near chickens whos soul purpose was to lay eggs... unfertalised eggs may i add... further more, how would the RSPCA feel knowing that their brand of eggs had in fact been responsible for the death of an innocent creature... the discovery of this also led to my discovery that Daniel cant spell...

Ok, thats about all that happened on my Seriously Silly Saturday, other than being assalted with several cartons of ciggerets... lol THANKS BRITTANY!!! :@ lol

Long time, no post...

Well its been a while since i last posted so i thought it best to succumb to that pressure from my friend and post again!

I discovered another interesting website: Whisper A Secret

This one isn't quite as good as PostSecret, however it allows all members of the online community to post their secrets here... me and my friends spend quite some time going through some of the secrets whilst posting our own and asking each other to guess them... which is quite often followed by length discussion and questioning... I think it has had a positive influence on my friends and me as we have learnt so much more about each other in terms of thoughts, feelings, dreams and relationships...

Postsecret

Sometime ago a friend told me about a site - PostSecret.. i recently asked her wat the address for the site was once again and just today realised what my secret is.
Today i designed my postcard, now its just a matter of printing it and sending it in.... i hope to one day look at the site and see my post card there, and know that around the world thousands of people relate to it, in much the same way i feel i relate to others who send in their secrets...

ok, this is why im glad school is back in 2 sleeps... school holiday boredom...

currently im looking at a site i discovered from digg.com - http://www.zyra.org.uk/ ... it has some quite random stuff on there... its an interesting read for anyone in a similar predicament to myself...

anyway... thought doin another post might pass sometime and it did! so if you dont mind im now going to return to my boring life....

My STUPENDOUS Sunday

9am - Wake up... whats the time? oh... dont need to be up yet...
9.05 - Asleep again...

9:30 - time?... damn still too early...
9:35 - sleeping

(this continues for about another hour and a half...)

10:45 - yeah i better get up...
10:50 - shower, breakfast(surprisingly!), get ready for work...
11:53 - finally pressure dad into driving me to work
12:00 - start work... find out im on the WONDERFUL register 4... sore back here i come!
2:30 - YAY! tea break!!!
3:55 - hey... look its my dad at register 6... OMG i get to go home soon!! YAY!
4:00 - run away from safeway... very far away...
4:50 - damn... back again....... for another 5 hours!!! :S
5:00 - ... well no point hanging around out the back forever...
5:15 - resort PJ's cupboard whilst preparing for stock take.... wonder how long it will stay like that...

7:00 - YAY! another tea break... hmm... i think i might hav popcorn...
7:07 - (tea room) hmm... no way am i gonna eat THAT much popcorn in the next 8 min....

9:55 - does 5min call over PA... wow... did i just not stuff up for once!?!?
9:59 - 1 min call
10:00 - r they customers... or nightfill? :S
10:01 - nightfill... lol
10:03 - finally get out of there!! woo!

10:20 - better set an alarm for tomorrow morning... maybe 3 would b better...
10:32 - start blog out of boredom
10:53 - finish blog and wait for brit to hurry up and get on msn...

Ok, im gonna do a starting post just about me to shut my friend up!!! lol
my names David, i live about an hour from melbourne and work at the local Safeway supermarket.
I am currently going out with the hottest checkout chick/supervisor in the whole store! and although it seems like every other day we are arguing, i will always love her!!

i'm a nerd at heart and absolutely love my toshiba laptop to bits!... im always finding new programs to install on it and looking at wat i can do next...
